Within the Lyrics has been renewed for a second season. The show, which was on the bubble for most of Session 10, managed to gain a renewal when early favorite 1930: Kings of the Street turned out to be a bust. The order is for four episodes. The entire cast from the first season is expected to return, with first season recurring guests Dianna Agron, Macy Gray, and Sara Ramirez all in contention for regular slots. If more then one of them are promoted, it is expected that first season director Baz Luhrmann would be demoted to directing on a recurring basis.
